Official GFX Zone Teamspeak Server [Second Run]

Hello members of GFX Zone, I have come today with a new exciting announcement! Our very own Teamspeak server!

First off, you need hamachi. Hamachi is a self port forwarder and is a secure type of port forwarding. Instead of having to create a hole in your computer, hamachi does it for you. To download it, go here : https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx
Tick the "Conditions Of Use" box and download the unmanaged version.

After that, do the following. Open up hamachi.

• Network >> Join an existing network >> GFXZ2 (No password is required)
  
• If you cannot connect to GFXZ2, try connecting to GFXZ3 or GFXZ4 or GFXZ5 or GFXZ6 or GFXZ7 or GFXZ8 or GFXZ9
  
• Don't X out your hamachi program or turn it off ever, if you do just simply reinstall it. If you get a message "Cannot connect to search engine" then just simply reinstall it.

Now, you download teamspeak. : http://www.teamspeak.com/?page=downloads

After downloading an unpacking the data, do the following. (Must be connected to the hamachi first)

• Open up teamspeak
  
• Go to Bookmarks >> Manage Bookmarks >> Delete the server that is already there (voice.teamspeak.com) >> Press +Add Bookmark
  
• Label: GFX Zone (Could be whatever you want)
  
• Address: 25.8.130.25
  
• Nickname: Your forum name
  
• Press "Okay"
  
• Go to Bookmarks then click "GFX Zone" or whatever you named it. Then you should connect.

Edit: wouldn't even need to pay, should be able to swing it with a single host to do everything

@Evereffects, not sure if you know but Hamachi is a application which you can set up, and join private servers with, its a VPN. Now with your tablet you should find it easy enough to get it from the app store. that or find another VPN program, they all work about the same, not played with hamachi tho, so unsure if you will need it to work, or if any VPN will suffice.

I think your hamachi sets up the ports for you.. So If you can find out which one its using, I should be able to connect.

You need to have hamachi running in the background to connect to the teamspeak server tho evereffects.

Right i took a look, now either i'm missing your point or i do not know what.

But you won't connect to this teamspeak server without hamachi running in the background.


Think of it as having a Teamspeak server....without paying for one. Even if you had the port for teamspeak server, without hamachi on your ipad running in the background. you won't be joining it needless :/

That's because we're using hamachi, all the flags are UK because it's not a direct port, since hamachi does the port forwarding already it sets another flag.

Hamachi is just port forwarding software so if you know the port you can do it manually

I got it, but if I turn my laptop off i will have to reinstall himachi everytime?

No, if you remove hamachi from the tray then you will have to reinstall hamachi.

I think TS is down cause it won't let me connect O.o

I put it down for around 2 hours.
